No theory lessons required.

Your driving lesson

Your driving lessons are made up of training lessons and special lessons.

More information at Practical training.

Training lesson

In the practice lessons you train the 5 basic driving tasks and driving in the city.

The number is variable.

A minimum number is not specified.

We recommend the following number of driving appointments so that your driving instructor can show you all the traffic rules relevant to the examination:

  • approx. 5 appointments of 90 minutes each if you already have a lot of experience driving in a large German city and on German motorways

  • approx. 10 appointments of 90 minutes each if you have no experience of driving in a German city and on German motorways

Special lesson

Special lessons are not compulsory.

In the special lessons, you train to drive outside the city on the motorway.

The practical exam also involves driving on the motorway.

We therefore recommend driving approx. 1 special lesson.
