Class B with key number 78

From 1.4.21, after obtaining the class B driving license with key number 78, you could also do the driver training for key number 197.

After this driver training you will be able to drive cars with manual transmissions.

Your prerequisites

Your vehicle

For your safety and enjoyment in the training you drive on top equipped vehicles latest models. A professional maintenance and cleanliness of our vehicles is natural for us.

The training takes place on a car with an automatic transmission.

After passing the exam, you may only drive cars with automatic transmissions.

If you also want to drive cars with manual transmissions, you have to complete the short driver training course for class B with code number 197.

Under locations you will find the training vehicles that are offered for training there.

Motor vehicles:

only with automatic transmission
up to 3500 kg permissible total mass
also with trailer up to max. 750 kg permissible total mass or
with trailer over 750 kg permissible total mass, provided that the permissible total mass of towing vehicle and trailer is max. 3500 kg.

For larger trailers, we also recommend driver training class B with key number 96 without a exam or class BE.

Your theory lessons

Required number if no previous possession of a driving licence class:

12 double lessons (at 90 minutes) of basic knowledge
2 double lessons (at 90 minutes) especially for licenses class B

Required number for previous possession of a driving licence category:

6 double lessons (at 90 minutes) of basic knowledge
2 double lessons (at 90 minutes) especially for licenses class B

Driving lessons drive easy simulator

For even more efficient training, you should also practise all modules on our drive easy simulator.

Training lesson

In the training lessons, you will practise basic driving tasks (parking, emergency braking, reversing) and driving within the city with all traffic rules and situations.

This number varies depending on the learner driver. There is no statutory minimum number.

Special lesson

In the special driving lessons (also known as statutory driving lessons), you will only practise driving outside the city.

4 driving lessons (45 minutes each) motorway driving
3 driving lessons (45 minutes each) twilight driving
