Your steps to a driving licence


1. Selection class 

  • Choose your suitable driving licence class with our class finder.

3. Registration driving school

  • Registration by e-mail or in person at the location of your choice.

 


4. Driving licence application (exam authorisation)

  • Apply for a driving licence (exam authorisation) yourself at the Munich District Administration Office (Kreisverwaltungsreferat) or District Office.
    You will receive all the necessary information from us.
     
  • The processing time is approx. 4 - 8 weeks. Only then will you receive the exam authorisation (exam order).
     
  • During the processing period, you can already start theory lessons and driving lessons.

6. Theoretical lessons

  • Prepare for the exam with our theoretical training.
     
  • Not necessary for class BE, upgrading to class A2 / A or converting a foreign driving license.

8. Theoretical exam

  • Once your exam licence has been issued, we can arrange a theory exam for you at the TÜV Süd test centre.
     
  • Depending on the availability of the TÜV Süd test centre, this can take up to 2 weeks.
     
  • Pass your theoretical exam successfully.
     
  • Not necessary for Class BE or ascent to Class A2 / A.



9. Practical exam

  • After you have successfully passed your theory test, we can request a practical test for you at the TÜV Süd test centre.
     
  • Depending on the availability of the TÜV Süd test centre, they will confirm your test.
     
  • You can take the practical test at the earliest 2 weeks after the theory test.
     
  • Pass your practical exam with flying colours.
